Christmas tree decorating game

In this game each pupil coloured some Christmas drawings and then, when all the pupils finished, the teacher randomly said the names of the pictures, the first pupils who showed the correct picture were called to paste their picture on the Christmas tree.

This game was the way the pupils in Nogueira decorated their Christmas tree.

"Colours and numbers"

In this activity the teacher gave commands to the pupils such as "nine-blue" and then they had to mark that space on the grid with a cross. This was carried out untill all the colours and numbers were matched. The pupils from Nogueira really enjoyed it!

Rochão's Halloween party

On the 31st of October there was the Rochão Halloween celebration. The Halloween party included several games which were prepared by me and some other teacher responsible for the activities.
There was a circuit involving all the classrooms. Every classroom had a different activity. This is the plan of the activities:

There was a classroom with a bowling game:

Another game was a Mine Game, in which the blind-folded pupils received instructions to avoid mines.

The next game was tic-tac-toe. For this game we used pictures related to Halloween for the pupils to mark their moves.

In the school library there were some paper box ghosts with open mouths cut out for the pupils to hit with small balls:

In the most extended activity the pupils needed to complete some gym tasks before taking a Halloween question from a box filled with scary stuff. The activity would only be considered done successfully if the pupils answered the question correctly.

After completing the circuit all the pupils were gathered to watch the Halloween cult movie:

The Nightmare Before Christmas

So this was this year's Halloween party in Rochão, the children seemed to have enjoyed it and so did the grown-ups. I'd like to thank the teachers at Rochão for helping me plan and prepare the activities and my eTEAM mate Vítor who helped us too.

Welcome!
